Friendship

A true friend is one whom you may depend
He is not concerned with how times spend.
In the hour of need one’s soul he’ll defend.
The fake in it for benefits and play pretend.
The good and true are few, lifelong you knew.
They will tell you in life what’s due.
Only to be there, cures another’s despair.
Fair weather friends depart when life descends.
They see you not through until the storm ends.
Only when life’s good, proves fleeting amends.
Those who are genuine you can sense,
They leave you not feeling in suspense.
In a moment’s call, fellowship shall commence.
True friends rarity, cause the soul’s lack in prosperity.
