Fentanyl Brings Death to All

How can one pill have so much power to kill?
One hundred times stronger than morphine,
How could anyone be keen?
Many of fentanyl victims are only a teen,
& underneath another pill fentanyl is unseen.

Slaves to high’s urge,
Dealers cause premature funerals dirge.
Numb are these who do not feel,
With a ruthless aim to settle a deal.
In their mind only money has appeal.
All the while mothers, fathers, brothers,
Sisters, sons, daughters & friends they steal.

Death’s tragic shocks now consume grieving souls clocks.

In our loved one’s void its time justice deploy,
The people with the law will have to alloy.

Advocate, educate & regulate,
We all have a part to play,
This chaotic mass we’ll mold order to clay.

Let’s speak at schools so the young are not taken by fools.
It’s time Government passes bills to prevent fentanyl kills.
& the law must squeeze out the drug cartel’s spell of hell.

So many thousands in a few years have died !
How many more in loss, have wailed & cried?

We ask politicians, lawyers, officers, doctors, & corporations
Heed the nation’s grieving cry for Justice’s comply,
Turn not a deaf ear,
or a blind eye,
To our nation’s tear!

From fentanyl poisoning, I lost a best friend,
In his wake justice has not yet had it’s slake,
For Justin and the many stolen lives,
We must fight for Justice’s ascent
& for our people make just amends.
